Get New Clients in Just 20 Minutes a Day

If I had to pinpoint the ONE course that shaped my future and I've used DAILY for more than 25 years...

Touch-typing.

Oh how I rolled my eyes when my father enrolled me on to that course - back in the days when typewriters had a genuine carriage return. But it paid off. In spades.

During University holidays when my friends were earning minimum wage doing unskilled work, I was clearing 5 times that typing.

Because I could type fast (90wpm) I was an early adopter of the internet.

Because I was an early internet user, I switched my degree to Software Engineering - and have never looked back.

Now, as an entrepreneur it pays off in a different way.

When I write a blog, it takes me a little over 20-25 minutes - and that one piece of work continues to bring visitors and clients day after day, month after month, year after year.

A piece of content I try and curate for Social Media takes just as much thinking time, but generates less interest and is gone in seconds.

Blogs stay with you - and if you can type fast, know your subject and your brain finds the words for you - then you can be actively marketing daily - without the hustle + grind. We're here to market & sell - WITHOUT the drama! Always WITHOUT the drama

Drama is for teenagers and loose cannons - not grown-assed women with purpose.

There's nothing wrong with Social Media marketing per se...  however, it shouldn't be relied on and isn't designed for longevity. It requires constant monitoring & feeding the algorithm... and that's before you get thrown off the platform for making a joke an algorithm doesn't understand!

Yet, when I've spoken to women before who want to (or do) blog - they tell me it takes hours and days to simply come up with the idea, plan it all out, plan the headlines, plan the pictures, blah blah - and so very little actually gets done.

But when I dug deeper, what I found was that many of those were choosing to write about topics they didn't really understand - and were doing it for "blogging's" sake rather than the backbone of their marketing strategy.

And... if you don't know your subject, you DO need to do the research, you do need to worry about covering all bases - and yet, if you're a coach or a subject matter expert (SME) - then you can write and write and write and write because you KNOW what you're talking about - and you don't NEED to get all the information out there in one article... because what you don't cover today, you'll cover tomorrow, or next week, or next month...

Fear holds you back. "Critical Cait" inside your head - she's that mean girl you're giving way too much time to - she's telling you that you can't blog unless it's perfect, can't write unless you've done 60 hours of research.

Blah to the fucking blah.

  • Set your timer
  • Fire up your blog
  • Subscribe to a paid stock photography site*
  • Choose your headline/topic of the day
  • Write the damned thing
  • Hit publish

That's really all there is to it. You just keep on writing. Keep on swimming Dory!

20 minutes a day blogging is going to elevate the status of your site in Google's eyes which is going to bring you to the forefront of BUYERS.

Remember... gatherers scroll Social - BUYERS use Google. BIG difference!

*The reason I say to use a paid stock photography site is that you do not want to fall foul of any copyright laws - and secondly, you get what you pay for. The images are well-indexed and you can find what you need instantly - and it won't be the same as every other boring Stepford business bitch out there!

20 minutes a day perfecting YOUR craft, YOUR message on YOUR blog and YOUR website is the way to scale your business in a sustainable manner.

No drama. No having the life sucked out of you. No needing to be "on duty". No curating your content so it doesn't offend a machine.

Just you & your words - calling in your ideal clients.

Stop making such a drama out of marketing!
